Trigeneration System
Scope of works: Simons Green Energy designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned a 378 kW Trigeneration System integrated by a 378 kW Cogeneration System and a 300 kW (th) Absorption Chiller at Castle Hill RSL Club.
The Trigeneration System provides electricity, domestic hot water, heating and chilled water for air conditioning to the Club’s main building. With an estimated payback period of 2.5 years, the system will save the club approximately $250,000 per year and will reduce its carbon emissions by 49%.
Simons Green Energy previously installed the first Cogeneration System at Castle hill RSL’s C2K Aquatic Centre back in 2011 and were subsequently re-engaged to supply and install the new Trigeneration System at the Club in 2013.
