Construction for the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital redevelopment commenced in October 2013, and includes a new STAR Building, which will provide a new home for Surgical, Theatres, Anaesthetic and Recovery (STAR) services.

Simons Boilers worked closely with Crest Air Conditioning to supply, commission and maintain 2 x 60 Simons VWT gas fired steam boilers and 2 x 511 kW ICI Caldaie Monolite 440 JB condensing hot water boilers that will provide domestic hot water as well as steam for laboratories and sterilizers.

The project is scheduled for completion mid-2015.
