Simons Boiler Co worked with contractor Austral Air Conditioning to supply gas fired steam boilers, hot water boilers and humidifier for Tamworth Hospital. The redevelopment will provide increased capacity and improved facilities for patients. The project has a capital budget of $220M which is funded by State and Federal Government’s Health and Hospital Fund.

Simons Boiler was engaged to supply and commission 2 x 500kW Simons VWT gas fired steam boilers; 2 x 2000kW REX gas fired hot water boiler, feed water and blow down tanks, and 11  x VapaNet LE humidifiers. The equipment will provide steam for CSD and humidification for air conditioning and hot water for air conditioning and heating.
